Obituary of Brian Robert Jones

JONES, Brian Robert – Age 66, of Springfield, Annapolis Co., passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater after his battle with cancer.

Born in Scarborough, Ontario, he was a son of the late Thomas Robert and Cora Ann (Daniels) Jones.

Brian was an outgoing and friendly man who had many friends and was well liked and appreciated. In his younger years, living in Ontario, he was a coach for the boy’s hockey league. Along with his wife, they had a passion and enjoyed traveling.

Surviving is his wife, Susan Jane (Tarr) Jones, Springfield; Beverly (Art) Surrette, Woodstock, Ontario; father and mother in-law, Donald and Margaret Tarr, Springfield; many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Barry Jones.

No visitation at the funeral home by request. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
