Obituary of Ronald Edgar Meisner

MEISNER, Ronald Edgar – Age 84, of West Northfield, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Sweetland, he was a son of the late Clarence Edgar and Marjorie Elexis (Selig) Meisner. 

Before retirement, Ronald had a 30-year career as a dozer operator for the former Nauss Brother’s Construction, Bridgewater. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, family time at the cottage on the lake and he also enjoyed working in his Christmas Tree lot.

Survived by daughter, Michaelle (Richard) Kaiser, Maitland; sons, Sean (Donna), Shenan (Shelley), all of West Northfield; grandchildren, Amanda Meisner, Nicholas Meisner, Kassidy Meisner, Cayden Meisner; great-grandchildren, Tyler Chipman, Emmalynn Meisner, Charleigh Hynick; sisters, Helen (Gary) Eisnor, Maitland; Marilyn Joudrey, Lower Northfield; many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Helen Aileen (Faulkenham); sister, Joan Crouse; brothers, Ralph, Walter, Byron and Frank; sister-in-law, Daisy Meisner (MacKay); brother-in-law, Robert Joudrey.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Sunday, February 25, 2024 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. Cremation will then take place and a graveside service will be held at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield.
