Obituary of Sidney Wynacht

Sidney Arthur Wynacht 81, of Bridgewater, died March 11, 2001 peacefully in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Mader’s Cove, he was the son of the late Captain Arthur and Lena (Slauenwhite) Wynacht. He worked at Maritime Manufactures, Mader’s Cove, the Royal Hotel in Mahone Bay, and Fairview Hotel in Bridgewater. He is survived by his wife the former Olive Joudrey; a sister Marion (Allan) Langille, Mader's Cove; brothers Philip (Edith) Wynacht, Dartmouth; sister-in-law Goldie (Gordon) Martin, Broad Cove; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Maurice and Dawson. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 1p.m. Wednesday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, Archdeacon John Clarke officiating. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any charity.
