Margaret enjoyed working with the public and held many customer service positions, including Tim Hortons as district manager, and Walmart as assistant manager.
Even though life presented many challenges, her pride and joy were always her boys, they came first and foremost in her life. She loved the holiday family celebrations, preparing the wonderful meal, and spending the day visiting and catching up with the kids and grandkids.
Growing up, she spent many happy times “down home”, making wonderful memories that would remain with her for the rest of her life. She looked forward to attending the many family reunions held over the years and touching base with everyone. Margaret was always up for a road trip, wherever it might lead. Walking, gardening, reading, crocheting, and doing puzzles were some of her favorite pastimes.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 11 in Ascension Lutheran Church, Conquerall Mills, with Reverand Willis Ott officiating. Family flowers only, please.
