Obituary of Harvey Leon Carver

CARVER, Harvey Leon – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Harvey Leon Carver Sr., of Branch LaHave, Lunenburg Co., announce his sudden passing on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Harvey was a dedicated family man and loved with his whole heart. He adored his dog Zoe and all of his grandbaby dogs.

Harvey was one of the greatest car detailers. This was very evident during the many years he worked at Don Grace Car Sales, Bridgewater.

He is survived by his partner and best friend, Paulette Wentzell, Branch LaHave; sons, Harvey Jr., (Tammy) Carver and Kevin (Tina) Carver; grandson, Matthew (Jen) Carver; brothers, Ernie Carver (Linda), and Chester (Wendy) Carver; sister, Karen Carver; uncle and best friend, Leonard Carver; aunt, Esther Legge. He is also survived by his partners family who he loved dearly, sons, Darren Wentzell, Jeff (Joanne) Wentzell; mother, Virginia Seamone; sister, Donna Seamone; brother, Gary Seamone (Laura Lee); grandchildren, Lauren Wentzell, Kate Wentzell, and Adam Wentzell, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.

He was the son of the late Arnold Carver and Frances (Leopold) Carver. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, Jamie Carver and grandson, Kyle Carver.

The family would like to thank EHS, staff and doctors for their quick and efficient care that Harvey was shown in such a short time.

Following Harvey’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service held at this time.  Memorial donations may be made to SHAID Animal Shelter.
