Obituary of Kevin Douglas Selig

SELIG, Kevin Douglas - Age 65 of Wileville, NS., passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on April 19,1959 at the Dawson Memorial Hospital Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co. NS., he was the son of the late Douglas and Elizabeth (Herman) Selig.

Kevin is survived by his sister Karen (Steven Maughan) Hirtle-Selig, New Germany; nieces Crystal Hirtle (Great Nephew Braydon Acker), and Candace Hirtle; nephews, James Hirtle, David Hirtle, Steven Dykin, Marcus Selig, and Bobby Selig; aunts and uncles, Marjorie Keizer, Hammonds Plains, Reggie (Linda) Herman, Bridgewater, Fred (Vida) Herman, Pleasantville, Judy (Earl) Rhodenizer, Pleasantville, Sharon (Stanley) Slauenwhite, Rhodes Corner, and Carroll Selig; along with many cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Douglas E. Selig; mother, Elizabeth V. Selig; brother, John E. Selig; grandparents, John and Clara Herman, Artemis and Dorothy Selig.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, June 15, 2024, at The Seventh Day Adventist Church, 17 Greenwood Street, Bridgewater, NS. Pastor Ryan Fraser officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasantville cemetery.
