Obituary of Frederick William Yeadon

YEADON, Frederick William – Age 91, Blockhouse, Lunenburg Co., went to be with the Lord and be reunited with the great love of his life; Marion on Saturday, June 29, 2024, while in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Frederick Milton and Ethel May (Verge) Yeadon.

Survived by his children, Anna (Barry) Wicks; Fred (Donna) Yeadon, all of Halifax; grandchildren, Holly Christian, Aurie Wicks, Jeff Yeadon, Tyler Yeadon, Nicole Yeadon, Christina Yeadon, Alexander Yeadon, Marissa Yeadon; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Marion Shirley (Grant) Yeadon in October 2017, and his son, James Yeadon in June 2024; sisters, Marjorie Quarrie, Irma Rozee, Jean Osborne; brothers, Gordon and Frank.

The family will be at the church for visitation before the service beginning at 11:30 a.m. Funeral service at 1 p.m., Thursday, July 4 in Faith Baptist Chapel, 11279 Highway 3, Lunenburg with Pastor Steven Hiltz officiating. There will be a reception immediately following the service.  Interment will follow in Garden of Rest Cemetery, Blockhouse. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
