We arel so very sad to learn of Bob's passing. His love of curling and the people he curled with brought so much pleasure to many daytime members of the Bridgewater Curling Club and his bright spirit will be greatly missed. Condolences to the family.

My condolences to Alison Reynolds and family. Having just read his detailed obituary in The Globe & Mail, I thought of many years of my business relationships with Bob. I was the packaging buyer for Best Foods of Canada in Montreal and later in Toronto. I recall his home at the back of the Kingsway Cinema. I live near Bloor West Village. I dealt with Anchor Cap for many years and have many fond memories of Bob.

Dear Sally ,
Bobby’s obituary in the Globe brought back wonderful memories from growing up on Stanstead Ave., TMR. Your mother and the two of you in the little White House. And his picture was exactly as I remember him. I sense that Bobby lived a life that was full and joyful. You are very much in our thoughts.
With fond regards
Peter and Paula Gillett.

Many. many years ago in Montreal, Bob Renold’s mother, Midge (Nixon) Reynolds and my mother, Mona (McMaster) Irvine were best friends. Each was Maid of Honour for the other at their respective wedding, and they continued to be friends for life. Even after my parents moved to Cornwall, ON, and we children appeared, we still got together from time to time, so my sister and I played with Sally and Bobby, albeit infrequently.
I had not seen Bobby since childhood, so I was saddened to read of his passing, and even more so of the fact that he had been living for some years barely 100 miles away from me in Digby.
My sincerest condolences to his family and friends, and to Sally and her family.
I plan to attend Bob’s funeral to say goodbye to him, even though I never got to say hello to him and welcome him to Nova Scotia.

I love this picture of Mr. Reynolds. It captures his essence! Mrs. Reynolds, Cath and Mary - I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr. Reynolds (I cannot call him Bob) always made you feel that he was ecstatic to see you which I always loved. That smile and his laugh were unforgettable. Big hugs to you all. x

My Grandfather was as fulfilled as a man can be. I remember him as a kind, loving soul who was unspeakably far from lazy. He was always doing something whether it was mowing the lawn, picking weeds, scrubbing the tires. He did everything in the world except for being lazy. He made every day in this world count and didn't skip a single one. I believe that to be the best lesson I ever learned from him. A way I hope to life my life now and in the future. Me and my family will miss him dearly, while also being exited to see him again some day.

My condolences to everyone. I was lucky enough to have spent a lot of my teenage years in the Reynolds household and I have the fondest memories. I remember Mr. Reynolds as a hard-working family man with a great sense of humour. I was lucky to have known him. Eternal be his memory.

G-pa, thank you for always having patience for your grandchildren, and always being so happy to see us. I will especially miss hearing “Well helloooo Emily!” right before a big hug. I know i’m lucky to have had you looking out for my brothers and I. Every time I walk down the beach, feed the gulls, or drive past some old guys playing golf, you’ll be there.
