Obituary of Carlos Alberto Homosits
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of Carlos Alberto Homosits of Charleston, Queens County, Nova Scotia on Friday, September 6th, 2024, at the age of 61.
Always a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, son, uncle, friend and companion to his dog Tikka.
He lived his life with love, passion and on his terms. He loved spending time outdoors any way he could, whether it be camping, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, sitting by the campfire, watching the sunsets or just sitting, talking and chatting with neighbours. He was also a devoted hockey fan, he never lost faith in his Toronto Maple Leafs (Go Leafs Go).
Family was everything to him. He made friends wherever he went and touched so many lives with his smile, handshakes and jokes (although not always that funny).
He will be missed but never forgotten.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater, where a Service of Remembrance will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2024; with Rev. Jim Slack officiating. A reception will follow the service in the funeral home. Service will be available on-line by registering at the following link: livestream registration.
