Dear Annette....I am sending heartfelt condolences on my behalf but also on behalf of the many people who gather at our Thursday morning Community Cafe.
We only got to know Steve in his later years, but welcomed him with his gentle manner, his sense of humour and his delight in the conversations with those who joined him at the table. His story is an outstanding one!
I am thankful that you were able to care for him at home, and trust that, in the midst of such a difficult time, there were many sacred moments of love as you 'walked him home'.
Our thoughts are with you, Annette, and look forward to having you join us at the Cafe as soon as you are able.
Wishing you peace and courage as you face the days ahead.
