Obituary of Marie Emily Perron

PERRON, Marie Emily – Age 76, Upper New Cornwall, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater with her beloved husband, three children, and son-in-law at her side. Born in Barss Corner on September 29, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Dennis Raymond and Dorothy Mary Jane (Barkhouse) Moore.

Surviving is her husband of 50 years, Jacques Joseph Perron; sons, Denis (Laura) Perron, Calgary, Alb., Steven (Lynnea) Perron, Kitchener, Ont.; daughter, Nathalie (Jonathan) Davidson, Cornwall; grandchildren, Aiden Perron, Carter Perron, Piper Perron, Isaiah Perron, Judah Perron, Marcail Perron, Brent Davidson, Gaven Davidson, Callan Davidson, Ellie Davidson, Nathan Davidson. Also surviving are her siblings: Florence Wentzel, Ethel Wentzell, Ellen (Calvin) Wentzell, Irene (Carter) Mader, Ardith (Henk) Bos, Douglas Moore, Llewellyn (Patricia) Moore, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by sisters, Hazel (Denis) Zwicker, Helen Moore, Frances (Royce) Wentzell, Annie Wood, Margaret (William) Mansfield; brothers, George (Beulah) Moore, Arthur (Bonnie) Moore; and brothers-in-law, George DeLong, Roger Wentzel, and Merril Wentzell.

Public visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Sweeny’s Funeral Home in New Germany (4895 Highway 10), and where the funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, December 12 with Rev. Tom Davidson officiating. Family interment will follow at Parkdale - Maplewood Community Cemetery, Parkdale. A reception will be held at the Parkdale-Maplewood Community Hall, Maplewood (3003 Barss Corner Road).
