Obituary of Basil Eldon Beck

Basil Eldon Beck 55 of Chelsea, Lunenburg County, passed away Wednesday 25 August 2010 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Eldon and the late Ruby (Veinot) Beck. He is survived by his sisters: Pauline (Dana) Cuvelier, Dartmouth; Donna Selig, Cookville; Cathy (Rickey) Hebb, Chester Basin; Aileen (Peter) Smith, Baker Settlement; Wendy Beck, Midville Branch; Barbara (Gary) Lowe, Bridgewater: brothers Eugene (Elaine) Beck, Italy Cross; Gary Beck, Manitoba; Kevin Beck, Conquerall Bank; along with several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Basil’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services held. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetic Association of Nova Scotia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
