Obituary of Lowell Junior Beck

Lowell Junior Beck 82 of Baker Settlement passed away Thursday 12 August 2010 in the Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Baker Settlement he was a son of the late Colin and Lydia (Wentzell) Beck. Lowell is survived by his wife Phyllis; daughters Judy (Ervin Bolivar) Taylor, Baker Settlement; Brenda (Ira) Bolivar, Wileville; Cheryl Whitehouse (Gary), Glen Haven; Bonita (Scott Mailman) Beck, Baker Settlement; sister Helen (Lester) Beck, Upper Branch; grandchildren Derrick (Wendy), Crystal (Greg), Scott (Dawn), Shawn, Brandon (Nicole), Jordan (Meghan), Jared, Cohyn; great grandchildren Logan, Dylan, Jessie and Alexys, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Marion and Daisy in infancy; brother Calvin and grandson Colin Whitehouse. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 PM Saturday 14 August in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday 15 August in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Baker Settlement, Rev. Willis Ott Officiating. Burial will follow in the Baker Settlement Cemetery.
