Obituary of Murray Lee Beck

Murray Lee Beck 75 of Watford, Lunenburg Co. passed away Saturday 6 March 2010 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Newburne, he was the son of late Clarence and Jennie (Eisner) Beck. He is survived by his wife Mary (Hirtle), daughters Annette Conrad (James), Watford; Sherry Beck Ramey, Mahone Bay; brothers Donald (Irene) Newburne; George (Reha), Capreol, Ontario; Harold (Carole), Newburne; sister Shirley Durling (Bernie), Yarmouth; grandchildren Holly Conrad (Todd Goodman); Devin Conrad; L. Lee Ramey and Amber Ramey. Murray was predeceased by his brother Douglas and sister Joan. There will be no visitation by request and a private family graveside service will be held in Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield, Rev William Gustafson officiating. A celebration of life will be held in the Upper Northfield Community Hall 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Tuesday 9 March 2010. Memorial donations in Murray’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the I.W.K. Mental Health Unit (4-south and ACT) for music equipment or the charity of choice.
