Obituary of Rosemary Nickerson
Rosemary Lillias Nickerson
83, Barss Corner, Lunenburg County, passed away in the VG palliative care unit of Q.E. II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, on Sunday, April 8, 2007. Born on Sept. 24, 1923 in Scotland she was a daughter of the late Everett and Hannah (Knaggs) Langille. She was a veteran of the RCAF and served during the Second World War. For thirty-five years she was a post mistress in Barss Corner. Surviving are her daughters, Jennifer (Bob) McKim, Lower Sackville; JoAnne (Frank) Adey, Elmsdale; son, Bradley (Heather) Nickerson, New Germany; grandchildren, Karen Nickerson, Kevin Nickerson, Tanya Farr, Mark Farr, Tony McKim; great grandchildren, Olivia Nickerson, Renee Nickerson, Thomas Nickerson, Carson McKim, Alexander Logan, Aden Logan, Jordan Farr, Gracie Farr, Emma Farr; sister, Fern (Bruce) Nickerson, Oyster Pond; brother in law, Melvin (Sylvia) Wamboldt, Bridgewater; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Harold; brother, Clinton Langille; sister, Joyce Wamboldt. Funeral arrangments have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home, New Germany. Cremation has taken place, a private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Barss Corner Community Cemetery, Barss Corner.
