Obituary of John Ralph Lohnes

John Ralph Lohnes 59 of Hebbville passed away on Tuesday 08 March 2011at home. Born in Bridgewater he was the son of Ralph and the late Lillian (Baker) Lohnes. John loved hunting, fishing and the time spent with his younger brothers as well as his nieces and nephew. He also enjoyed playing checkers, cards and Sudoko puzzles, along with watching John Wayne movies. John loved his job of working in the woods, cutting trees, driving trucks and selling firewood. There is no place John liked more than the outdoors. He was always helping people and enjoyed visiting with Joey and Joann. He is survived by his father Ralph Lohnes, Bridgewater; brothers Barry (Faye)Lohnes, Hebbville; Brian (Victoria) Lohnes, Bridgewater; Corey (Alexis) Lohnes, Cookville; Nieces Tracy, Katie, Kerri-Ann and Tatum; Nephew Travis. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Friday 11 March in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where the service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday 19 March, Rev Ivan Norton officiating. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations in John’s memory may be made to the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore or charity of choice.
