Obituary of Vida Selig

Vida Autumn Selig Of Colpton, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully June 3, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bakers Settlement, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Luella (Bolivar) Mailman. She is survived by daughters, Leverne (Donald) MacKay, Pleasant River; Elaine (Gerald) Robar, Dayspring; Carolyn (Beverly) Veinot, Bakers Settlement; son Douglas (Margaret) Selig, Simpsons Corner; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Randolph (1982); son Keith (1946); daughter Marie (1956); son Glenwood “Butch” (1972); sisters Dorothy, Lois; brothers Roy, Percy and Harris. Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 1:30pm Wednesday, Rev. Natalie Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in the Bakers Settlement Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation, Bridgewater, N.S. Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.
