Obituary of Barbara Coupland

Barbara Louise Coupland 89, of Upper LaHave, passed away April 18, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Jamacia Plain, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lottie (Mulock) Mulock. She was a member of St. Matthews Anglican Church in Upper LaHave. She taught school in various parts of Nova Scotia before becoming principal of Riverview School in Bridgewater where she taught for seventeen years prior to her retirement. She is survived by a nephew, several nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, the Rev. Robert Coupland and her only brother Frank. Visitation will be held Friday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday from St. Matthews Anglican Church, Upper LaHave, Rev. Dr. G. P. Pritchard and Rev. Linda MacDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Matthews Cemetery, Upper LaHave. No flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthews Alter Guild or any charity.
