Martin Clad Hubley
76, Simpsons Corner, Lunenburg Co., died Wednesday, August 14, 2002 in North Queen’s Nursing Home, Caledonia. Born in Simpsons Corner, he was a son of the late Walter and Jenneth (Cole) Hubley. He worked at various jobs in woodworking, construction, Christmas treeing, farming and carpentry. He was well known for his willingness to help other, his witt and sense of humour He is survived by his children, Debbie (Joe), Victor (Sophie), Meredith (Al) all of Dawson Creek, B.C.; Vincent of Chetwynd, B.C.; Audrey (Hugh), Wileville; Dennis (Kelly) Simpsons Corner. Sister Victoria (Jim) Emino, Simpsons Corner. Seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Jody, Chris, Crystal, Megan, Jessie, Jamie, Lynn. 4 great grandchildren, Cory, Keaton, Ashlyn and Kaje. He was predeceased by his wife the former Bernice Naas, son, Chester in infancy, sister Gladys; brothers Ray, Webster and Roby, both in infancy. Visitation 7-9 p.m., Sunday, memorial service 11 a.m., Monday both in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev. Gloria McClure – Fraser officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Simpsons Corner. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Hillside Cemetery, North Queen’s Nursing Home.
