Sorry for your loss. Kay took me under her wing, showing me the ropes of waitressing. I enjoyed working with her for many years at The Peter Boy Restaurant. My prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Kay's Passing .I remember her as that wonderful motherly lady who always waited on us after school at the restaurant on King St across from the bottom of Dominion St. She always had a hot piece of Cherry pie with a scope of chocolate ice cream on top and a large fountain coke waiting for me when she saw me coming down the hill. My friends and I would just sit and chat and sometimes she would join right in and be one of the gang. What a wonderful and caring person she was and so much fun to have around when we all gathered there .I saw her after the restaurant closed while making deliveries to the apartment building she was in just above the Exhibition ground and we always chatted about those fun times at the restaurant . I am so sorry to hear about this and I know how hard it must be on you all but I am sure the wonderful memories you have of her and the love she showed to us kids was just the tip of the ice-burg when it came to the love I am sure she shared with her family .
