To Elizabeth, Tracy, Family Members & Friends,
The members of the Canadian Forces Supplementary Radio (SUPRAD) System Oldtimers Association were saddened by the news of Roger's passing. Those who proudly served with Roger, whether on course (CFSCE Kingston) or on postings (CFS Inuvik), will long remember all of the enjoyable times that were shared. Please know that as members of your extended military family, we will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

My sincere condolences to Liz, Tracy & family. Roger and I attended trades training in Kingston and served in Inuvik together in the early 80's. Although our paths never crossed again, I fondly remember the times we shared in the military.

Liz, I was so surprised to hear that Roger had passed away. Roger and I were neighbours when we were kids and went to school together. We saw each other often when we lived on Spikenard Street. I had not seen Roger in many years, yet still have many memories of him and his family. I hope that you find some comfort from the memories of your long relationship with Roger and the times you enjoyed together. Another veteran gone too soon.

Joe and I are very sad to hear of Roger's passing. At the same time it's healing to know his long fight is over and he can now rest in peace. Our condolences and heart felt thoughts go out to "Liz, Tracey, and the rest of the family."
We first met Liz and Roger in Masset Queen Charlottes (Haida Gui) B.C, as we to were to do like many others there, "time, on the Rock," a Military posting!
"When we met, Liz, and Roger, we had a common interest, dogs." Not just any dogs, we both owned a Samoyed! This is what started us on a wonderful 3 yr friendship while doing time on the Rock, that led to our continued pen pal friendship throughout the past years." Followed by Liz and Roger requesting to having one of our own bred "Sammy pups, Maverick," Roger and Maverick had a very close bond, Maverick of course, always at Roger's side. This warmed my heart, when after sending Maverick to them, they informed me of this. Roger had a heart of gold, a great sense of humor and a soft spot for his four footed fluff ball. Roger, I hope now you and Maverick can now enjoy many more endless walks together on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again!
