Obituary of Lloyd Donald Storr

STORR, Lloyd Donald - Of Mahone Bay, NS, passed away at the age of 82, following a short stay at the South Shore Regional Hospital. His 3 daughters were by his side.  

Born in McAdam, NB, Lloyd was the son of the late Robert Angus and Lydia (Pheeney) Storr.  He was predeceased by his older brother Robert and is survived by his younger brother Kevin.  Lloyd is also survived by his daughters, Lori (Stephen) Green, Leslie (Dean) Manthorne, and Rebecca (Jamie) Smith; his amazing granddaughters, Olivia, and Lyra; many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.  Lloyd was looking forward to being reunited in heaven with his wife Karen (Gillespie) who he lost in 2022.  

Lloyd enjoyed a full life, a 33-year career in the RCMP and CSIS; raising his family in Burlington, ON; and spending many cherished summers and his retirement years at his home on Lake Mush-a-Mush.  Lloyd was devoted to his church and active in his community.  

All who knew him will be able to take comfort in treasuring the memories of good times together.  

Lloyd’s memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 7th at 2:00 pm at the New Cornwall Baptist Church at 2222 Cornwall Road.  A committal service will take place this summer.
