Obituary of Marilyn Louise Eisnor

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Louise (Cook) Eisnor on April 12, 2024, at the age of 81 in Ridgewood Assisted Living, Bridgewater. She was born August 25, 1942, in Bridgewater with her twin sister Carolyn, to the late John and Jessie (MacDonald) Cook. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Lee Eisnor, and Twin sister, Carolyn (Cook) Fraser. She is survived by nieces, Kim (Eddie) Corkum, Cookville; Julie Fraser, Halifax; brother-in-law, Charles (Ginny) Fraser, Bridgewater.

Marilyn worked most of her career life as a legal secretary. She loved to knit and made many comforters and was busy lately knitting dish cloths. She loved dogs and cats and always had treats for them. She was happy living on Lake Mush-a-Mush.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Friday, April 19 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. Memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, April 20 in Bridgewater United Church, Rev. Neil McEwan officiating. Private family interment to follow. Reception will be held in the church hall following the service.
