So Sorry to read of Vernon's passing. Vernon was a great fellow and a good friend of my father. He was always stopping by Rofihe's for a friendly chat. Vernon and Pixie were a great team. They will both be missed. Barb and I send our sincerest condolences to all.

Dear Family of Vernon: We are thinking of you as you remember your loved one (our friend). Vernon was a special long time friend to us, particularly, in the music circuit. We attended many Blue Grass Music Festivals in Nova Scotia, from Yarmouth to PEI, his birthplace. Without a doubt, he loved his music, and we find comfort in our memories of laughter and experiences. He spoke well of his family and always looked forward to your visits. We are thankful to have had his presence in our lives, and will miss him. God Bless each one of you.

I recently was visiting dad when someone asked me if he was strict when I was younger, I laughed!!! I shared a story of dad getting us in trouble, yup true story!!!! He came home and played tag in the house with the 3 of us, we all were yelled at by mom (Thelma) to stop running in the house, happened a lot.

Our condolence to Reagh, David, and Sharon and their families on the passing of their Dad.. Vernon will be missed by his family and friends. His brother and sisters on P.E. I.had a strong bond . They visited when they could. He loved to play and sing at various functions in the area. His friends played with him. We all will miss his smiles and his sense of humor. Yes Vernon, you will be missed.
